Quick and easy healthy ice cream

Can you imagine eating healthy ice cream? Well you can! This recipe isn’t a new one. There are many variations of this recipe on social media. There are just some recipes out there that seem too good to be true. This  ice cream recipe is one of those. And needless to say I really had to try it.

This ice cream recipe is simplicity itself! It’s simply a matter of peeling some bananas and then freezing them. The frozen bananas are then pureed in a blender and voila you have banana ice cream.

The result of this experiment really surprised me. I could have eaten the entire batch of healthy ice cream all at once. It was truly delicious. We drizzled over some runny peanut butter and the result was a heavenly mouthful.

The beauty of this recipe is that it is incredibly quick and easy to make. The surprising bit though, is that it really has the same texture as regular ice cream. It is smooth and creamy and simply scrumptious. I strongly suggest that you give this recipe a try!
